| sorressean | So I supposedly have the bsd 4.9 disk mounted, but when I boot, then connect to console I get nothing. I had to set it to use the serial port when I booted on the actual box before I messed up the install, do I have to do something special with the cd so I can install over ssh?

| I could not copy and paste this incantation as instructed but I typed it several times with the same result: a scrolling ssh menu.
So step 2 isn't working ie start up "chicken" the vnc with localhost and port specified. I ssh from a bash prompt on osx. Will check back later for comments. | [11:53] | |
