far more of those for linux than for any of the BSDs jpalmer: depends on the scope of the threat. just like any other OS.
if it's something that affects us, and the likelyhood of it being problematic is high, I push out a fix or workaround immediately after it's tested. if it doesn't impact us, I don't.
the OS wars, are retarded. the OS is simply a tool to get a job done. and managing *any* OS, follows the same fundamentals and principles, as any other OS. mike-burns: Editor wars are dumb, too. nestea: chmod -R 700 /* jpalmer: agreed, and language wars, mta wars, etc nestea: no one can mess with that ! jpalmer: use what you like, I'll use what I like. what is there to debate :P mike-burns: There are a few objective things to debate. vi is better than ed for day-to-day programming. jpalmer: the only time I care about *your* usage or preferences, is when we're forced to co-admin machines :P
