is it possible to upgrade VPS nodes online, or does that require a manual dump of files from your existing VPS to a new one?
upgrade. like more mem, more cpu, more disk?
typically they require arpnetworks charging your card, changing some settings, and you doing a full poweroff and startup

ah ok thanks, was hoping disk volumes could dynamically grow as that tends to be the first bottleneck i hit :)

make sure you know how to handle disk size growth in your os of choice
will most likely be using zfs+freebsd - so i should have that aspect covered
it's just for a personal mail/web/shell box - so a reboot is def not the end of the world
