was there a connectivity issue beginning ~1837 utc and ending ~1928 utc? a peer had some stale routes last night and they bounced the session (routes worked again) gotcha, just checking. got alerts from pingdom while i was out, checked my vps (after i got the "up" alert) and didn't notice anything. thanks. np! as long as it doesn't turn into an "amazon", we're cool =) LOL!!!! i like that currently dealing with slicehost outage at the day job. omfg, their web-based console is useless i love my setup even more now VNC ftw indeed lol linode has a good one actually but tbh i prefer VNC VNC + ability to change CD's is king. sadly QEMU does not support changing CD's lol or maybe it does now idk moral of the story = always leave recovery CD on vcs: it does support chaging CDs but i'm using an older libvirt that makes it tricky trying to package a newer version, but proving time consuming ahhh yeah i first tried out libvirt back when it was a buggy POS lol never used it since yeah imo stuff is stable only upgrade if you have to :P people should know to keep recovery media on at all times anyway but that would be prudent, and who has time for that? then again, as sysadmins, i guess we need to at least appear to be prepared up_the_irons: oooh, new libvirt version, sounds good, had you seen my message about the seabios boot menu thing? (can't remember now)
