my vps has been frozen or something since march 25th.
haven't gotten any emails from cron since then, and ssh just drops the connectioen
yet I still have an IRC account online from there. :P
would be nice if I could access the console, but apparently passwords are too insecure and this machine doesn't have a host key (actually it did, but apparently that was overwritten when I added a different machine's key)
email support@ with your updated key
they're pretty fast about inserting that
you can also just reboot your box from the interface
(if you think that would help)

I don't want to 'just reboot'.  It's of concern that it's just frozen...
the problem with the web interface is that every time I upload a key, it overwrites the old ones (I think)
I have the other computer here too, fortunately, I've just been a bit lazy about digging it out.
ah, now I have to remember the password I can't change :(
that all done, I can get a login prompt via serial console, but then when I enter my username and press enter, nothing else :(
