cedwards: basically start with s/\//-/g;s/\.pm$//; and see if that matches. if that doesn't, nix one -* thing at a time. i.e. in that case start with IO-Socket-SSL and if that does not exist, IO-Socket, then IO ..
also look on cpan for it
