if you need to, hit vnc hit f12 boot from cd and re-install. depending on if you are thinking you were compromised or if you think there was just flaky internet in general. nesta: yeah I was just wondering if there were tools to check or something(like a bandwidth graph)
I never have much need to check something like
I keep my firewall on and log and block all spam boxes etc
