Does anyone know if one can upload a pre-made qcow2 image to ARP and have them make a virt out of it?
not sure what a qcow2 image is.  but if it's a cd ISO image,  you can submit a support ticket with a wget path.  they'll mount it to your vps,  and you can install from that.

G: not too much of a hassle, but you have to resize your own filesystem (we can resize the underlying volume), *or* just opt to get the extra space as a 2nd volume which you can mount anywhere

I've been using *nix and X for 15 years, and just recently learned that shift-insert was the same as middle click ;)

i got a netbook where the mouse buttons did not allow me to click both at the same time (3 button emulation), so I had to learn about shift-insert.  a co-worker made fun of me so hard that i didn't know that already
i forgot where i learned that, but glad i stumbled upon it
so I haven't been able to find any sort of terms of service or something saying what you allow and disallow running on your network.
there's mention of allowing ircd which is kinda cool even though I don't really have a need for that.

so by that logic, a windows vps would be better than a freebsd one.
