quick question about firewalls.  firewalling of my vps depends on my config of iptables?  I am assuming that there's not a base network firewall controlling access to these boxes.

What happened was I forgot to rebuild the init stuff after changing mkinitcpio.conf which means I don't have the virtio modules loaded like I need to access my drive
The CD appears to not be there anymore
which is where I am running into the problems
