toddf: hey todd, regarding conserver, i'm assuming it is possible to define multiple hosts in console.cf with different masters, but for the life of me, i can't get it to work. I always have to do "console -M ". Shouldn't "-M " be optional if I define multiple master's and console can find the right one depending on ? from console(1): -r Display daemon versions. The console client connects to each server to request its version information. "each server" -- that is my problem right now, it only sees one server "localhost" $ console -r 127.0.0.1: version `conserver.com version 8.1.16' $ toddf: if you could share some part of your console.cf, that'd rock :) I regret to say while I have two conserver servers, I've yet to link them in any meaningful way. when I figure it out I'll be sure to share toddf: ah ok, tnx hrm. hey - up_the_irons - is there a good way to tell how much bandwidth I've used *this month* with cacti? err - how much data I've *transferred* I guess. cacti? can't you just parse the webserver logs? cacti is what we are billed with if we go over etc Plus, not all my B/W is web serving hm.. can anyone recommend good hardware/software solution for doing QoS, with the possibility of good VoIP performance (for less than $100 -- preferably free)? linux tc seems like it would be a drag to work with, and I'm not extremely thrilled with the performance of my routeros box whoa, what was that about
