feel free to use a secure os for your desktop and put windows in a vnc/rdp/qemu window so this type of thing doesn't happen again *grin* I do that and never have had that problem since the 90's
and in the mid 90's my password reset scenario involved telnet and shairing a dialup modem .. with a previously trusted friend
