up_the_irons you around I suspect he tries to take a day off here and there. is there a question, or are you waiting for support? heh no Randal... I have a general data center planning question mainly in this day and age how dense should I plan racks as far as wattage ahh, no idea I'm merely a consumer, not a rack guy planning for ~23 racks in 22.5" X 30" space ' not " guestimating an average of 5.7kW == shat ton of power how ever its easy enough to have 23kW racks yeah 22 by 30 inches is a bit small :) :-) quantum computing that's just like Spinal Tap! sigh.... its always fun getting thrown into a new field as long as the field has pretty flowers, no worry pretty flowers and very large kW #'s and similarly large cooling numbers I'm thinking its safe to run redundant 20A 208v 3Ph to each rack then 35A to a subet you can arc-weld with that. :) I have a rack right now thats rated todo 13kW which would need both of those circuits if it was fully loaded which is the big question what is the fudge factor in actual wattage of servers vs what their spec sheet says mmmm. fudge. :) are there still plans to move away from mzima/packetexchange? I just realized that I get to arpnetworks via level3 -> packetexchange (over ipv4) I like level3 so much because they always seem to have problems don't* like heh so much better than the old level2 though I'm sure it is :p and level1? don't even talk about them! there is a level1 actually :) maybe it's level-one, but they make consumer wireless routers and things i believe consumers don't need to be routed. :) aw :) k night, to VMworld tomorrow if anyone is going to be there @unilogic on twitter and let me know g'day hello
