[10:07] You can request that an ISO be "put in the CD drive", or you can do anything you want to your running server (upgrade, etc.) [10:09] *** JacobWilson has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [10:14] mike-burns: hello [10:15] cmeiklejohn: Hey! Coming to game night tonight? [10:20] mike-burns: unfortunately not. I have some coding to do tonight. I'll try to make it in the future though! [10:20] Oh coding, nice! [10:21] I set my laptop up for Android development last night; finally got "Hello, World!" working in the emulator. [10:21] How long did it take? [10:22] I've been meaning to look into that. [10:22] Took two days to get everything going on 64-bit Debian. The main issue is that everything Android is 32-bit so there are a ton of libraries to track down. [10:22] I still don't have Eclipse working right so I'm moving forward with vim in the meantime. [10:25] Ah, interesting. I'm running 64-bit Ubuntu so I imagine I'll have the same problem. [10:37] *** sentabi has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 252 seconds) [10:38] I did a ton of Google searching so I do know that if you do the same you'll find some good guides. [10:38] mike-burns: You're going to set up Eclipse for it? [10:38] I've got it running great without. [10:38] Don't see why I'd need it. [10:38] I don't know what I'm missing. [10:38] Also not sure why you had so much trouble with 64-bit. [10:39] I'm running Lucid and it worked pretty much out of the box. [10:39] Oh, mee too. [10:39] In my mind Eclipse makes building an app 100x easier. [10:39] So, I guess it will be fine ;) [10:39] mike-burns: Perhaps, but setting up Eclipse is 100x more difficult. [10:39] Yeah I'm going forward without Eclipse for now. [10:40] you guys running ubuntu on your server? [10:40] or vps [10:40] OH no way. FreeBSD on my servers.
