Wraithan: is that something I could throw in my mkinitcpio.conf modules, or does it have to be a kernel rebuild?
a little googling shows adding 'virtio_blk virtio_pci' in mkinitcpio.conf may cut it.

but it's also the wifi they use internally for their POS terminals and ... their printer
