How come my network connection dies when I get some traffic?
I'll have to do 'ifconfig eth0 down;ifconfig eth0 up;route add default gw 192.168.2.1' before it starts working again

I'm just doing: /connect -6 ipv6.chat.freenode.net and it times out.
all i did was fire up irssi then do /connect ipv6.chat.freenode.net
i didn't specify -6
though that should work
tcpdump shows me outbound but no return packets. pflog isn't much help either.
should it make any difference that I'm in a jail? The jail has an ipv6 address assigned.
are you able to do other ipv6 traffic?
like to ipv6.google.com or anything?
I can ping those from the host (disable ping in the jail, of course)
try opening them in lynx or something from within your jail maybe?
It's got to be the jail/pf setup. I can ping and telnet to ipv6.google.com from the host.

you could grep it for hte ipv6 stuff
I've got a nat rule for my jails to get out, but I'm beginning to think that is inet only.
nat on em0 from lo1:network to any -> (em0)
do I need something more/different to allow ipv6?

ahh. those ipv6 addresses aren't attached to lo1, they are attached to em0.
I should probably fix that, and it should (fingers crossed) handle it.
