not just pronunciation, processing speed too. Easier not to sound like a complete idiot when you can take your time to compose a message instead of stammering while you grasp for a word. cedwards: it's been so long since I've needed to speak a second language, I'm trying to remember the difficulty. jdoe: well right, there's that too.
