has anyone done the make buildworld, etc. dance on 7.2-release to go to 7.3?
i just did it on a test machine at home and got / filesystem full while doing "make installkernel"
don't want to have the same happen to my "production" machine here at arpnetworks
don't let the disk fill up?
root filesystem wasn't big enough for the new kernel installation
what's your partitions look like on your vps?
mine, by default, just had one big / partition
i just took default when i installed... moment...
500mb / partition at home, and haven't had any issues
500mb / on the VPS... 320mb on the one at home
so 500mb should be good to go then :-)
anyways, the one at home is a vbox instance... so i'll blow it away, recreate with bigger / and try again
did v6 have a short burp just now?
anybody ever seen udp scanning to port 52983 ?
it is totally bizarre random ips will hit me about once every 5 seconds or so, and its by far the most common udp port hit
like 99% of the hits
toddf: a lot of IPv6 BGP sessions reset at about the time you mentioned, so yeah, it burped

I noticed because I happened to be interactive via ssh .. and I only have v6 ssh access enabled ;-)
