even though my box "sysctl" says it's a single proc 2.66ghz, am I sometimes borrowing more CPU than that, if it's available?
RandalSchwartz: the kvm process is scheduled between all available cores, but I don't know if this would make any difference wrt borring "more" CPU.

well, are the native CPUs also just 2.6 Ghz?
I suppose that means that interrupt stuff like I/O isn't charged to me
as it would happen on one of the other cores
