(No, I've never used these console stuff before. All the VPS' I had before didn't hav this awesome option)

but if you want keys with putty i think you need pageant too

looks like you still need pageant if you want to use putty + keys
pageant just stores the keys, decrypted, in memory or whatever (Just like ssh-agent)

But.. I don't think my problem is with the key
