you have two options, you can have up_the_irons do it but it'll take about a day
or, you can connect to the vps through vnc
and restart it, but hit F12 while its booting
then choose cdrom
which should boot the installer of whatever you originally chose
you'll have to wait for up_the_irons if you want a different distro though
