we keep handing out that many addresses we're gonna run out just like we are for IPv4 :-) obsidieth: np, keep the questions coming if you have more, i'm here to help sooner or later your wristwatch is going to need an ip, we'll need em then ballen: mainly has to do with the fact that "subnets" is king in IPv6, not addresses (there are so many, we don't count). And the minimum subnet size to be the most compatible with IPv6 features is /64. So we start at /64 and get larger yea there are guys on the ARIN ppml and ipv6-ops lists that can give you a laundry list of things that'll need an IP addresses, but honestly I'm not sure if most of those things will actually happen I mean even if it does like, all the different subsystems in your car wanting their own VLAN, so each need a /64 even if you count all those i kinda doubt that'll happen, but perhaps the IPv6 authors were looking FAR ahead :) every single item a person owns even if you break it down into each subsystem like, every single building element in a house even say the carpet needs an IP yeah, wasn't this idea written up in "The Internet of Things" or something like that.. not sure kinda freaky Qsource might have some comments about this (let see if the nick hilight wakes him) heh k i bet Qsource is just an idle screen session somewhere... ;) ugh Disqus' little interface is ugly likely hehe wonder if they'd mind if I hid their logo its handy, mainly because I don't have to manage comment spam how big are fonts going to get -- http://disqus.com/signup/?next=/add/ lol its Web 3.0 each iteration the font gets larger yeah i'm not one to talk, i have big fonts, http://arpnetworks.com/ BUT i call it like it is
:) wonder if that does anything for Google SEO no clue web 3.0 suits my eyesight if anyone uses urxvt, here's a font u can read from across the room: URxvt.keysym.M-C-0: command:\033]50;xft:Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:size=18\007\033]711;xft:Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:size=18:style=bold\007 Know of a date/time picker for Sinatra? not i woo power outage haha the lights going out is a real sinking feeling. along with the spiders that could be creeping about up_the_irons: is it possible to say, get a little less ram and bandwith to lower the price obsidieth: yeah, I have a $15 plan 512MB RAM, 10GB disk, and 100 GB bandwidth ok.
