[14:42] <up_the_irons> ultimately, i don't think it is the fastest thing out there (a paravirtualized VM would be faster), but its flexibility makes up for it IMO
[14:43] <up_the_irons> Linux guests are getting a few paravirtualized drivers (virtio for NICs, forgot which one was for block devices), which is really speeding up Linux VMs
