Hello world! ooo, kct08! lol Congrats, up_the_irons ! I'd say that was a successful migration. Also timezones and dates are hard and I totally thought this was happening tomorrow. D'oh! up_the_irons: are the bandwidth graphs gone for good or just temp down while moving? mhoran: the time zones mean that it happens on the same day for most users just different time of day.. Sure; I read the 14th at an overnight hour and in my head calculated an off by one error. but yeah it can be confusing there was just a daylight saving change too Yep. i'm like 20 hours behind PT err ahead but it's like 4 hours behind just on the next day Haha. do you notice much diff between the old machine / new machine? Nope! Except that I should be able to get virtio enabled which should help with I/O performance. ah right what OS were you? FreeBSD. ah yeh freebsd gets a good boost openbsd doesn't get as much of a boost :( Yep; my other tow VMs are great. Ahh yaeh... Really impressed with how transparent the migration was! I know the new systems can migrate between hosts easily but not the old systems that didn't have Ceph. I'm mostly excited about the flexibility of the new underlying platform that up_the_irons has built. :D that was the oldest host it's mostly time consuming migrating from the old hosts the new systems can do 1000mb/sec the old systems can do 100mb/sec for network megabytes that is it's actually using compression to migrate though so it goes slightly quicker depending on how much ratio is doesn't do anything useful if a user uses crypto well actually it's more than 1000mb/sec on the new systems too depending.. large block copy they excel at also the performance is way better if a node reboots or such for any reason
