mhoran: Just found your wordpress site while googling info on using dovecot in freebsd. Caught my attention because it mentions ARP. Cheers. :) we totally need promotional arp networks logos :D sjackso: ha! Nice. I still mostly have things set up that way, but due to a change in mutt 1.5 I now use IMAP for everything I ahve this recurring dream where I switch to using mutt regularly, but every time I try I get frustrated by its weak support for multiple imap identities though in my last round of poking at it I was able to make some reasonable progress on that by using offlineimap Mail.app is one of the three or four things still tying me to macosx I hope you've opened/helped out on bugs in mutt's bug tracker, so that you can get the multiple IMAP identity support you desire. mbsync + mutt sjackso: that's kind of funny since i've also tried unsucessfully to switch to mutt a few times too but i'm coming from pine (now alpine) I tried to learn the details of IMAP from alpine's source. It's terrifying. so i've got nearly 20 years worth of finger memory that i just cannot overcome you can change some of the binds i used to use pine many moons ago the bind i've stuck with it ^x to send mails IMAP is a disaster by all accounts The RFC is nice! I have a little IMAP shell that I wrote, which I sometimes use to experience IMAP in all its glory. It is nice! Unfortunately it's usually implemented wrong. it took me a while to realize that "id" is not "message-id" Ah, yeah sjackso: mhoran : I wanna see... ;) https://mhoran.wordpress.com/2012/01/25/setting-up-postfix-and-dovecot-to-play-nicely-with-mutt-mbox-maildir-and-freebsd/ Cool :) staticsafe: welcome! woops StanOSP: welcome! :D
