hello.  i saw some irc logs about some customers having issues upgrading from openbsd 5.5 to 5.6 where server would get stuck on boot with " nvram: invalid checksum " error.  Something about needing to migrate customers to a different host that has been upgraded?
up_the_irons: this sound familiar?   Should i submit a ticket for that?  My server is dead atm :(.

i booted off the 5.6 ISO and just ran through upgrading the sets
(I upgraded a couple of VPS to 5.6 without issues)
tells you to reboot, and thats it.
So the ISO worked, just not on-disk
i still need to do the sysmerge, and packages upgrades etc
forgotten: have you tried a full power-off and then starting it back up?
yes, and i tried to boot -c and disable uhci
it goes a little further past nvram error, but still freezes.

one of the versions i had to change my shell, as i was using /usr/local/bin/zsh

i tried to go to 5.6 i386 first, with freeze on boot problem.  tried amd64 same issue.
tried to go back to 5.5, system boots but takes me to single user mode barking about unbound stuff

you may have to just delete the unbound binaries not in /usr/local
