and it's probably an option on windows when you boot
if it's linux, and you kept the partition, then you can probably just make it bootable
but that's a guess
hmm it may have chagned from the older stuuff
it seems to suggest you just run it from windows now mnathani_: original disk and partitions are intact
the user tried to install Windows 8, but that didnt work out so well
now I can't seem to get the recovery partition to load
ended up reinstalling Windows 7 mercutio: ahh ok
those things are always a pita
well the bigger pita is they don't include original media often mnathani_: how are the templates coming along? mercutio: all except centos 6.x are done
i think it was 6.7
but i kind of want to do arch linux as well
dunno how much interest there would be mnathani_: I always thought it was more of a desktop OS mercutio: i also kind of want to do freebsd 10 zfs root
nah arch is rolling but nto desktop focused mnathani_: rather than use for server purposes on a VPS mercutio: i have arch on my personal dedicated server
and on my home server/desktop
i would have arch on more vps's if there were images :)
the main problem with arch is that it changes a lot
but centos 7 switched to systemd as well now
but yeah when things changed to systemd that was a huge change
and it was done early
