mercutio: i tried it, it was pretty cool.
but i end up just copying and pasting links to play stuff
it was better on original xbox's because they came with remotes :)
i have an xbox too. they can't do 720p brycec: lol
s/xbmc/Kodi/ BryceBot: <mnathani> Do any folks in here use Kodi? Just wondering what people think about the project brycec: fyi

any recommendations for live tv streams? ***: medum has joined #arpnetworks plett: mnathani: I've got a Logitech K400 keyboard+trackpad thing which I use with it. I also have a cheap MCE remote (IR, Windows Media Centre) that works fine, but the app can do more conveniently, and my phone is always handy. Plex I use either keyboard/mouse (because I'm using the web interface), or the Plex app.

From Feb 13:
16:36 < brycec> staticsafe: As requested http://sprunge.us/ZOhN
16:37 >> staticsafe<< brycec: ty
16:37 < brycec> It needs cleanup... I was inebriated at one point and forgot how Config::Grammar inherits
It may have changed slightly since then staticsafe: brycec: thanks! brycec: np.
I'm going to check my current config, see what all I can share
Standby for the current config :)
staticsafe: Current http://sprunge.us/OARV
(I would throw the file itself into sprunge.us except I have some internal comments) mercutio: i think some nice standard list of organised smokeping hosts that people can all add into their normal config could be kind of handy
not including things like voip hosts that most people don't use etc. brycec: That's what nlnocring is for :P
er, nlogring mercutio: but including ebay, amazon, google etc.
hmm brycec: er, nlnogring (wtf)
mercutio: Right, and many (all? most?) have nlnogring hosts mercutio: does arp have incoming traffic on level3?
or was it just outgoing
looks like not yet
it's level3/gblx/pccw/trit/arp
then arp seems to block traceroute from looking glass.
(probably udp traceroute) staticsafe: http://smokeping.staticsafe.ca/?target=staticsafe just added my own hosts in brycec: Congrats staticsafe staticsafe: :P mnathani: My brand new Raspberry Pi, running OpenELEC: Linux xbmc-rpi 3.16.3 #1 PREEMPT Sat Oct 4 09:49:44 CEST 2014 armv6l GNU/Linux up_the_irons: mercutio: no incoming on Level 3 yet

i'm getting packet loss :(
like 50%
but only to last hop, and it's hard to mtr back
ahh sweet, it finally showed stuff, getting packet loss from arp to any2ix ***: CaZe has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 260 seconds) mercutio: there's two mtr's running at once, and some loss to 10.10.10.6 too
but way more from any2ix.coresite.com ***: jpalmer has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 272 seconds) mercutio: and i dunno if it's showing some loss from the double mtr.
so i assume arp is getting ddos'ed?
or any2ix is broken ***: neish_ has joined #arpnetworks

ish
oh weird, level3 is being used for outbound now
and level3 back to me is working, but hitting any2ix is giving issues
the plot thickens, on another ip address, ti's going any2ix, he.net, vocus... but vocus are on any2ix themselves.. ***: zhangxiaobao has joined #arpnetworks mercutio: and i thought he.net there was direct connection to ***: BryceBot has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 256 seconds) zhangxiaobao: hello, seems some problem with he? mercutio: zhangxiaobao: there's more than just he.net issue
zhangxiaobao: i have been talking to myself trying to figure out what's happening hah
vl5.s1.lax.arpnetworks.com is fine from me
and vps is fine from me, but dedicated server is broken and arp's web site is broken
when i trace out from my vps if it hits any2ix going out it seems broken
and level3 seems to be being used when it wasn't before for outgoing.
and up_the_irons ping timed out zhangxiaobao: can i do anything to help? mercutio: i doubt it
neither can i :)
it's mostly just intellectual curiosity for me zhangxiaobao: :) mercutio: up the irons was around 3 minutes before there were issues ***: neish has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 272 seconds) mercutio: so i assume he noticed
oh level3 was being used outgoing before, it's incoming that wasn't.
my packet loss has gone down quite a bit now
from 50% to 15%
but my cellphone keeps beeping from alerts. ***: BryceBot has joined #arpnetworks
BryceBot has quit IRC (Changing host)
BryceBot has joined #arpnetworks mercutio: oh sweet
any2ix has issues
it's not just arp
so vocus probably withdrew advertisement to any2ix
and that's why it's hitting he.net/vocus zhangxiaobao: seems only ipv6 has issues and ipv4 is fine? mercutio: and he.net has probably withdrawn now too
that's why it's hitting level3
well i think any2ix is the primary issue
why 10.10.10.6 has issues is probably because there's flooding on the port and it can't keep up
so i imagine there's a broadcast storm.
ie each port gets flooded with crap. ***: up_the_irons has joined #arpnetworks
